Vidhi Bhabra is a design researcher and practitioner with a keen focus on materiality, sensory engagement, and cognitive interactions in product design. With a distinguished academic background from the Manchester School of Art and the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Mumbai, she has honed her expertise in concept development, digital literacy, and project management. She further deepened her perspective with a postgraduate certification in Indian Aesthetics from Jnanapravaha, Mumbai, integrating cultural and philosophical insights into her approach.

Her master’s research in Product Design explores polarity in design—examining how contrasting materials and colours enhance sensory experiences and user engagement. Through a mixed-method approach, she investigates how textures influence cognitive interactions, with implications extending to sensory regulation in workplace ergonomics.

Vidhi’s commitment to sustainable and responsible design is reinforced by her certification from the Carbon Literacy Project, ensuring an environmentally conscious approach to material and product choices.

Driven by a passion for meaningful innovation, she aspires to bridge the gap between art and functionality, creating designs that enrich user experiences. With a strong belief in continuous learning, she remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of design research and practice.
